Jarvis House Bed & Breakfast is located on sunny Galiano Island between Vancouver and Victoria on Trincomali Channel with magnificent views to Mayne, Pender & Saltspring Islands and Victoria.



Jarvis House is situated mid-land atop a high bluff overlooking Trincomali Channel. Set on 10 acres of forest, adjacent to a large bird sanctuary, you can enjoy the tranquil beauty and spectacular vistas of the Gulf Islands. This bed & breakfast offers two rooms, a beautiful japanese style room or a suite with private entrances.



This west coast hand milled post & beam house has ocean views from all windows. A delicious full breakfast is served daily at the formal diningroom table, out on the deck or at the breakfast counter.




Wood stove heated, settle down with a good book in the bright sunny living room or wander out to the deck and enjoy the ambiance of the beautiful ocean vistas. Children & pets welcome.




This tranquil & serene forested acreage is perfect for bird watching or boat watching or to catch up on your reading on the wrap around deck. Relax put your feet up and enjoy the sounds of nature.



The Bakery suite is self contained with a queen size pillowtop mattress, goose down pillows duvet with 100% cotton covers.



This suite has two private entrances, relax and enjoy your coffee on one of two private decks.

With a full breakfast included, this room is $100. per night. Specialty diets - Celiac, Vegan, wheat free etc. are available upon request.

Ideal for rest & relaxation enjoy coffee or reading on the private upper deck, en suite is the large shared airy bathroom with 7-foot Ritz Hotel clawed bathtub. Jarvis House is easily accessible to recreational activities, sea kayaking, horseback riding, golf, boat rentals, beach combing, swimming, hiking and bird watching.


For bird lovers & naturalists, recent steps have been taken to protect the nesting cliffs of Peregrine falcons & cormorants next door to Jarvis House. Peregrins are normally found in open spaces that are usually associated with high cliffs and bluffs overlooking rivers and coasts, the nests are twigs made on the bare rock of a cliff. The bird will lay two to four eggs and are listed as an endangered species. Over 130 species of birds reside on Galiano Island.




Your hosts, the Jarvis', have lived on Galiano for 25 years. The "bakery suite" was the bakery started by Jenny in 1984. Islanders used to sit and enjoy coffee & pastries on the deck over looking Trincomali Channel, hence the name "Trincomali Bakery". Both have worked in the film industry for many years and know the importance of good food.
